School of Motoring
You will be accommodated in guest houses or small hotels on a bed & breakfast arrangement. Some accommodation may provide an evening meal at additional cost (usually very reasonable). You will be picked up from local train or bus stations and returned to the same at the end of your course. Your instructor will meet you at your accommodation every morning and return you there at the end of the day's driving.
Our courses are conducted in two-hour slots with two half-hour breaks for rest and refreshments and one hour for lunch. Ideally we would like you to take your practical test at the end your course and would therefore suggest that you pass your theory test before booking your course. For those candidates from whom we have received a deposit on any of our courses, we will provide mock theory test papers and a postal marking facility.
|4 Day course - 30hrs tuition, test on 4th day afternoon [all incl.]||£630.00|
|5 Day course - 35hrs tuition, test on 5th day afternoon [all incl.]||£685.00|
|7 Day course - 40hrs tuition, test on 7th day [all incl.]||£840.00|
Please note : The 7 day course is a bit more relaxed, you will only do 6hrs driving per day, 3hrs in the morning and 3hrs after lunch. On your final day you will do a couple of hours in the morning and then take your test in the afternoon, leaving you a few hours to relax in the middle of the day. Also on the 7 day course we will pay for another test should you fail the first attempt.
Please take note our courses are not holidays! They are tough, no-nonsense and highly intensive. We have an extremely good success rate and we aim to keep it that way.
At present, to book a residential course we require 6 weeks notice.
